Popeyes is the quick service restaurant that started the chicken sandwich wars. Many people can think back to the long lines and sold out signs when that first sandwich was released.

With the new Popeyes Spicy TRUFF Chicken Sandwich, the flavor has a little more sparkle, boldness, and flare. Featuring the TRUFF Spicy Mayo, the condiment is bold but approachable. The combination of red jalapeno, mayo, and black winter truffle is unctuous, spicy, and earth.

To kick off this new food menu item, Popeyes is giving fans a chance to get a seat at the Popeyes yachtsteraunt. The social media contest, in partnership with Wisdom Kaye, will celebrate the “fancy” aspect of enjoying this new TRUFF collaboration. Whether it is white tablecloths, dimly lit enclaves, or using creative adjectives to describe that food experience, everyone will be celebrating the bougie.

Combined with TRUFF, our new sandwich boasts new bold, flavorful ingredients typically reserved for white tablecloth settings and we recognized an opportunity to lean in on being lavish. We launched a TikTok contest anchored to the launch of our fanciest Chicken Sandwich yet and designed the campaign to inspire guests to take to social media to spotlight fancy moments in their every day life.”

The new Popeyes Spicy TRUFF Chicken Sandwich is available at participating restaurants. In addition, the “Build Your Own” TRUFF menu is available online and via the app.
