Friends can be the family that people choose and raising a toast with Friendsgiving cocktails can make that special sentiment even more meaningful. For long time friends Sammy Hagar and Rick Springfield, their Sammy’s Beach Bar Rum collaboration is far from a one hit wonder. Ready to shake up a new toast to good times and good friends?

Many people know Sammy Hagar from his many hits. The same can be said of Rick Springfield. But, some people may not remember that the pair collaborated on the song, “I’ve Done Everything for You” in 1981. Hagar wrote that hit.

Fast forward 40 years, the pair continue that friendship. It is gone beyond the recording studio and the stage. The other collaboration, Sammy’s Beach Bar Rum, has brought the Puerto Rican rum to many celebrations. From toasting friendships to celebrating the good life, the flavorful rum captures the island vibes no matter where that bottle is poured.

Ahead of the holiday celebration, the pair has shared two Friendsgiving cocktails that will get everyone’s attention at the table.

The first cocktail, Somos Amigos Recipe is all about togetherness. Bringing together a sweet pineapple juice and a tart cranberry juice is a lovely contrast. Adding the spice note from the rum creates another flavor layer. It shows that contrasts can make a lovely harmony when combined in the right way.
