Oriole Park at Camden Yards – Home of the Baltimore Orioles
While people might think of crab cakes or even a Sagamore Spirits cocktail as Baltimore centric-food offering, Chesapeake sausage is also a hometown favorite. Using some of that classic seasoning, the sausage is the foundation for the Chessie.
The Chessie is called the “best of Maryland on a bun.” Served on a pretzel bun, the footlong Chesapeake sausage is topped with creamy crab dip, pickled sweet corn, and fried green tomatoes. It is the pickled sweet corn that makes this dish. That punch of acid keeps all the rich flavors in check.
Chase Field – Home of the Arizona Diamondbacks
An Arizona classic, Chase Field is serving a Sonoran Dog. This item has almost become a classic dog. Topping a half-pound Nathan’s Famous footlong is ranch beans, smoked bacon, and pico de gallo. With some mustard and mayo, that New England roll carefully holds it all. Just try not to spill any of the toppings with each bite.
Dodger Stadium – Home of the Los Angeles Dodgers
The Dodgers are ready to knock it out of the park with its sausage offering, The Slugger. The substantial 16-inch jalapeno cheddar sausage is almost big enough to share. Topped with corn relish, White Cheddar cheese sauce, cilantro crema, and crunchy tortilla strips, it is a celebration of textures. Plus, it would be nice to get some extra cilantro crema to enjoy with those French fries.
Nationals Park – Home of the Washington Nationals
Featuring a Washington DC favorite flavor, the Nat’s Dog blends a classic hot dog with some creative toppings. The hot dog is topped with chili and zesty Mambo slaw. Everyone knows that Mambo sauce is irresistible.
