More recently, Casey’s transformed the popular Midwest pizza appetizer into the Pickle Wrap Pizza. That willingness to see beyond the traditional pizza toppings sets the brand apart from others. Starting on January 13, Casey’s will add the Italian Deli Pizza to the menu. This food item transforms a classic sandwich into a delectable pizza. Topped with deli salami, chopped smokey bacon, tangy banana peppers, those savory food items blend perfect with the 100% real mozzarella, classic marinara, and signature parmesan blend.
The addition of the banana peppers is key to this pizza. Since those peppers have a tanginess, not necessarily a bold spice, they cut through the richness of the other ingredients. It is the lift that makes for a more balanced bite.
Available both on a crispy thin crust or a traditional crust, both options will be quite tasty. With all the big game parties coming up this month, it could be a great alternative to another meat and cheese board.
