While people continue to crave the Triple Dipper appetizer and thirst for that Presidente Margarita, Chili’s understands that value drives guests to come back time and again. With new Big QP burger joining the 3 For Me menu, guests are skipping the to-go bag for a more satisfying meal.
Certain core values are at the heart of a Chili’s meal experience. While every guest is greeted with a warm welcome, it is more than just words that makes the meal enjoyable. Value paired with satisfying flavor have earned the restaurant brand a loyal following.
Additionally, Chili’s appreciates that it needs to connect with guests. Whether it was opening the Scranton Branch, adding special margaritas, or racing to victory at the Daytona 500, those events paired with tasty food, warm hospitality, and value keep guests engaged with the brand.
Given that today’s economic climate has people closely watching their bank accounts, eating out has become more of a luxury. While people might crave convenience, no one wants to spend the same amount on a quick, unsatisfying bite as their monthly electric bill.
Adding the new Big QP to the value friendly 3 For Me menu is a smart move for Chili’s. The burger concept might have a nod to a classic offering, but this version plays a new song with a harmony of more burger for less dough.
As George Felix, Chili’s Chief Marketing Officer said, “We believe Chili’s 3 For Me menu, starting at just $10.99, has been the best value in the industry since we introduced it in 2022, and we just made it even better with the new Big QP burger, featuring a fast food flavor profile our guests will recognize. But for those times when you can’t get to a Chili’s and find yourself settling for the drive-thru, we opened Fast Food Financing to help customers in their time of need.”
First, the Big QP burger features “two slices of American mustard, ketchup, pickles, and diced onions. Comparatively to another quarter pounder burger, Chili’s burger has a starting weight of 7.5 oz, which is much bigger than similar quick service restaurant offerings.
Plus, the 3 For Me meal includes bottomless chips and salsa and a fountain drink for $10.99. Given all that food, no other quick service restaurant can beat the value.
To showcase Chili’s value in pricing and food offering, it will host a special New York City pop-up. On April 16 and 17, the Fast Food Financing location will have people apply to get some monetary assistance for a better meal. Once approved, they will head into a special speakeasy and enjoy that new Big QP. The special pop-up is located at 37 Union Square West New York, NY 10003 and will be open from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. EST.
While no one will have to sing for their supper, this special event deserves to be celebrated. It might not be a witty social media quip or an unlikely ad poster, but it will get people talking. More importantly, people will get an opportunity to try the new burger.
What could be next for Chili’s? Another addition to the 3 For Me menu might be a good idea. Or, maybe there could be some excitement around those classic fajitas. That menu item deserves a little more love.
