While the country favorites will always be on the table, Cracker Barrel is taking a trip to the Big Easy this Spring. Two New Orleans favorites join the limited time menu along with some juicy and sweet food items.

Cracker Barrel believes in providing comfort food with classic hospitality. After committing to no egg surcharges on bills, guests appreciate the restaurant brand’s commitment to keeping prices in check.

While value is important, menu innovation keeps people excited. While the classic hashbrown casserole is always delicious and no one ever turns down a plate of freshly made biscuits, a limited time menu offering can get guests to come back more than just once a week.

On the new spring menu, Cracker Barrel is offering two new savory options that are directly from the Big Easy. The Louisiana-Style Shrimp Skillet and Shrimp n’ Grits are a take on those classic creole flavors. Both items have a sprinkling of spice but do not overwhelm the palate.

Sarah Moore, Chief Marketing Officer for Cracker Barrel commented, "Our spring menu lineup is just as bold and savory as it is sweet and indulgent. Our new Creole Shrimp skillets appease guests with an appetite for fresh flavors and zest this season; for those wanting something a bit more indulgent, our new OREO Stuffed Cheesecake Pancakes, a new twist on our staple Strawberry Stuffed Cheesecake Pancakes, are sure to delight."

In addition to the creole inspired menu items, Cracker Barrel brings some extra sweet flavor excitement to its beverage line-up. First, the Pancake Latte is perfect for guests who crave that maple forward sweet flavor but still want to have a plate full of savory food.

While it is called a Pancake Latte, the flavor is maple centric. It is unclear if there is a little buttery note to this breakfast inspired beverage. Maybe, the brand took creative license in the name. After all, a Pancake Latte is more fun than a maple latte.

With strawberry season around the corner, the juicy fruit flavor a new beverage. The Strawberry Peach Lemonade channels those feelings from the first warm spring day. Sweet, slightly tart, and refreshing, it pairs well with the creole inspired dishes, a classic chicken dumplings, or even a plate of bacon and eggs.

The strawberry flavor infusion continues onto the dessert menu. The Strawberry Ice Box Pie is a dish that could come straight from grandma’s kitchen. The sweet, tart, and creamy strawberry and lemon filling contrasts perfectly with the graham cracker crust. It is the perfect ending to any meal.

Hungry to try the Cracker Barrel Spring menu? The good times are always rolling at the restaurant but these food and beverage items will be rolling away sooner than you realize.
