Although brandy is often the traditional liquor used with eggnog, the Elijah Craig is a sublime swap. This particular bourbon has an inherent sweetness that blends well with the richness with the eggnog. Since the liquor tends to finish with a spice note, that flavor works well with traditional spices served alongside eggnog.
