During the Disneyland 70th celebration, the iconic theme park sparkles and shines for this platinum occasion. From parades to special events, the Anaheim theme park invites everyone to join the festivities. With the Disneyland 70th menu, the dynamic food and beverages set the table with flavorful storytelling.
Across Disney Parks, the culinary teams appreciate that food is vital part to the guest experience. From Epcot’s food festivals to holiday spectaculars, the combination of flavor, culture, and creativity is highlighted on every plate.
Fror the Disneyland 70th menu, the dishes blend classic with food trends. That careful balance ensures that everyone’s palates are appeased. It is one of the reasons why people make a specific trip to enjoy dish after dish on the menu.
Visit Anaheim teamed with author, Gavin Doyle," Disneyland Secrets: A Grand Tour of Disneyland’s Hidden Details,” to highlight some of the specialty menu items that should be a priority for visitors. While the vibrant colors entice the eyes, the dishes have more substantance than just surface value.
When asked about how Disney captured iconic characters, experiences, and storytelling in the 70th celebration menu, Doyle commented that “they are extensions of the stories and characters found throughout the theme parks. Mickey Mouse is a key staple throughout the new food items for 70th celebration. Whether it’s the new Mickey Hat Cookie or the Mickey Mouse Celebration Waffles, the Disney chefs know how to use this iconic character to draw people into new food items.”
Across all the Disney Parks, popcorn buckets are often the status purchase of the event. The Disneyland 70th is no different. Doyle believes that the Mickey Mouse and the Abominable Snowman from the Matterhorn popcorn buckets will be must haves.
While guests always want that souvenir takeaway, snapping photos of the must have food is equally as important to every visit. The Disneyland 70th menu has many visually impressive dishes that will be shared time and again. Doyle believes that the 70th Celebration Churro and the House-filled Celebration Beignet will be top sellers.
Whether or not a dish hits viral status because of the visual remains to be seen, but people are connecting with the dishes that feature a touch of nostalgia. Doyle said that some dishes draw inspiration from classic, favorites, but they did not simply replicate the dishes. He recommends Bengal Barbecue ribs, peach cobbler funnel cake fries, tuna melt, and chili baked potato with cornbread.
Specifically, there are 16 items “inspired by the past.” Doyle explained, these dishes “reference old Disneyland locations or favorite foods of Walt Disney. An example is the Hook’s Galley Tuna Melt which is likely based on the Chicken of the Sea Pirate Ship Restaurant that was located in Fantasyland when Disneyland first opened.”
While this menu has several items that represent the past, the Disneyland culinary team constantly evolves its menus to include food trends, guest feedback and more. From creative storytelling to visually compelling plates, all those items combined with bold flavors make the Disneyland food shine during every visit.
The Disneyland 70th celebration runs through Summer 2026. More information on the event, the food offerings, and more can be found on Disney’s websites.
