Dr Phillips Center has a different vibe for the spookiest week of the year. The skeletons might be hanging from all areas of the performance hall, but these Halloween cocktails will enliven even the most stoic spirits.

As many theater goers have come to appreciate, Dr Phillips Center often creates special, thematic cocktails for its Broadway in Orlando series. Additionally, Justin’s Live has gone above and beyond with its food and beverage program. From wine tastings from Wine Bar George to its impeccable Sunday Brunch, the vibrant space is always packed.

For Halloween, Judson’s Live is hosting Stranger Things inspired dance party. Hosted by the cast of Stranger Sings!, the special event will have everyone channeling their inner 80s music fan. The 18 and over performance will have everyone dancing until the witching hour concludes.

As part of the Halloween event, the Dr Phillips Center food and beverage team created special spooky sips for the occasion. Each one has a Stranger Things theme twist.

The Halloween cocktails are: The Mint Flayer, The Demogor-gin, Starcourt Spritz, and Haunted Hawkins Punch. The names relay the connection to Stranger Things, but the colorful cocktails stand all on their own.

The most interesting option is the Mint Flayer. While the flavor is very mint forward, it contains moonshine. This liquor might not be as potent as a spirit from the still, but it is a cocktail that packs a big punch. Everyone better be prepared for its impact.

The Haunted Hawkins Punch is a lovely mocktail option. The combination of cranberry, prickly pear, and white grapefruit plays off the sweet and sour. It is slightly tart but it leaves people longing for another sip.

The Demogor-gin is the most visually compelling. The vibrant Empress Gin is always a favorite for those colorful cocktails.

The specialty Halloween cocktails from Dr Phillips Center are available during the special event at Judson’s Live. Tickets for the event can be purchased online.
