From big game celebrations to just satisfying cravings, chicken wings are always a favorite meal. People can debate whether ranch or blue cheese is the preferred pairing, but few people turn down a plate of that lip smacking food. These famous chefs’ chicken wing recipes will get everyone cheering time and again.
Finding a great chicken wing recipe is more difficult than it seems. While smothering wings in a Buffalo sauce might sound simple enough, the flavor can be a little one note. In contrast, a simple salt and pepper seasoning before the wings hit the grill is far from exciting. Finding the right balance between flavors takes a deft hand.
Many popular chefs have recipes that bring all the flavor yet do not take a MasterChef talent to cook. The key to many of these dishes is to use the right ingredients to bring out the robust, enticing flavor that will have everyone talking.
For example, Maneet Chauhan’s Spicy Vindaloo Wings is a great example of big, bold flavor. As the two-time Tournament of Champions winner “dancing spice queen” on Food Network, this recipe is a celebration of spice without overpowering the palate.

While Chauhan’s recipe celebrates Indian spices, Chef George Duran takes a different approach to the flavor profile. This particular recipe is focused on ginger. While that ingredient is often infused into many dishes, it is front and center in this chicken wing recipe.
Speaking about this recipe, Duran said “Wings are a staple for the Big Game, and I love experimenting with new flavors every year. Dorot Gardens Ginger has been a game-changer for me—it’s easy to use, packed with flavor, and even offers digestive benefits. It’s a win-win!”
