Goldfish always has its finger on the pulse of current food and pop culture trends. Whether it is a whims play on forgetfulness or infusing a food trend in that crispy snack, all ages happily dive into a bag and enjoy every bite.
Since snacking often goes into overdrive during the summer months, Goldfish released a new flavor that is reminiscent of a favorite condiment. The new Awesome Sauce flavor captures that iconic condiment in a crunchy form. With a punch of tanginess and an underlying sweetness, the superlative flavor descriptions are many.
While people will be running to get that first taste of the Awesome Sauce, it is not the only summertime offering from Goldfish. Spicy Dill Pickle is back and Old Bay is front and center as well.

Hungry for a Goldfish summer snack remix?
While many people are happy to dig into a bag of Goldfish and snack away, a mashup of flavors is a smart choice for the summer. Not only does it keep things fresh, it allows people to flex their creativity.
Looking at the three summer flavors specifically, the Awesome Sauce and Spicy Dill Pickle would be perfect together. The tanginess of the Awesome Sauce with the kick of heat from the Spicy Dill Pickle would round out the flavor notes.
While the combination works well as a side, it would be even better as a topping. From a crunchy layer on a burger or chicken sandwich to the finishing element on a hot dog, there are plenty of possibilities.
