Gordon Ramsay’s Secret Service premiere episode features a Washington, DC restaurant.

Premiering on May 21, the first episode of Gordon Ramsay’s Secret Service features Parthenon, a Washington, DC institution. While the family run restaurant has been in business for decades, it feels a little dated.

In this exclusive clip provided to FoodSided, Ramsay discovers an issue which could have the restaurant go up in flames. This type of heat in a darkened kitchen is never a good idea.

As seen in the clip, the Parthenon has been a Washington DC institution for 36 years. While it might have been the place to enjoy delicious Greek food for decades, the kitchen inspection proves that it has been neglected. When a kitchen is in disarray, the front of the house suffers, too.

A huge issue is that one of the oven was left on. That mistake is unacceptable and highly dangerous. Missing that type of simple item on a check list at close is unbelievable.

What other secrets will Gordon Ramsay and his team discover? More importantly, will the Parthenon rise from the ashes of despair and return to its greatness?

Be sure to watch the premiere of Gordon Ramsay’s Secret Service on Wednesday, May 21 at 9 p.m. ET/PT on FOX. Episodes can be streamed the next day on Hulu.
