A family run restaurant is more than just a place to eat a meal. For Marvel Ranch, four decades of serving their community is about to come to an end. As seen in this exclusive clip from Gordon Ramsay’s Secret Service, the kitchen staff needs to change their demeanor in the kitchen because those raised voices are pushing people out the door.

Each week, Gordon Ramsay’s Secret Service uncovers the dirty secrets that restaurant owners do not want diners to see. While some moments make viewers squeamish, the redemption stories keep people watching every week.

According to FOX, the series is its "most-streamed unscripted debut ever.” Additionally, viewership continues to rise week after week, especially within the coveted 18-49 demographic.

In episode six, “Marvel Ranch,” Gordon is ready to help a struggling diner. While this restaurant has been operating for four decades, it is on the brink of bankruptcy. While the new owner grew up watching her father grow the business, her current staff lacks the discipline and respect required for a successful restaurant.

In this exclusive clip provided to FoodSided, the Marvel Ranch staff is fierier than a Gordon Ramsay Hell’s Kitchen tirade.

An open plan kitchen can be a great way for guests to interact with staff. In this case, no one wants to see a UFC battle as dining entertainment. The chants of “fight” is something that even a dinner theater production would be hesitant to utter.

While no one believes that restaurant staff will be best friends, mutual respect is necessary. A fine dining restaurant touts a precise kitchen brigade, every food service establishment needs to have teamwork. Marvel Ranch does not even have a morsel of that concept.

Fixing this working dynamic issue will be a primary focus of the episode. If the staff does not respect each other, they do not care about the food served or the cleanliness of the restaurant.

In order to bring Marvel Ranch back from the brink, Gordon will have to fix both the staff’s relationship with each other and with the owner. If people cannot get along in the kitchen, someone will have to step away. If the owner does not create the proper environment, the situation will never change. All elements will have to come together before anyone can even tackle serving better food to guests.
