When a family embarks on a vacation, they dream that the experiences will be etched in their memories for years to come. Additionally, they want every moment in that resort to be unique and entertaining. Hyatt invites families to whip up some culinary creativity with MasterChef Junior experiences at its Dreams Resorts and Spas.

Food and travel are forever intertwined. While many resorts infuse local flavor into their restaurants, specialty culinary programs often are a highlight of the stay. From chef-driven events to interactive classes, guests find that the food flavors the overall experience.

With the new MasterChef Junior experiences at Dreams Resorts and Spas, the specialty events are more than just a diversion to occupy the kids for an afternoon. The fun intertwined with learning could be the spark a lifetime appreciation of cooking.

Speaking about this new programming, Ana Tomicevic, Vice President, Global Brands, Inclusive Collection, Hyatt said, “Hyatt continues to lead the all-inclusive category by delivering meaningful experiences for guests of all ages. The introduction of MasterChef Junior programming at participating Dreams Resorts and Spas branded properties underscores our dedication to crafting unforgettable memories for guests and World of Hyatt members. With travelers seeking experiential travel with a compelling food and beverage focus, this collaboration meets guests where they are while making a lasting impact on the next generation of foodies.”

The MasterChef Junior experiences are broken into three categories: Exclusive Explorer’s Club programming, Surprise and Delight Pop-Up Activations, and For-Kids-by-Kids Menu. Each one is designed not only to engage guests ages 6-12 but also to foster conversations with family.

For example, the Explorer’s Club programming, with its Mystery Box challenges, could spark a fun dinner when the families return home. It does not mean that the kids will be able to whip up a gourmet dinner by themselves, but they could be more open to trying a different spice, ingredient, or cuisine. Those conversations around the table can have people get to know each other better.

Additionally, the For-Kids-by-Kids Menu is an extension of a concept that adults appreciate. Many resorts feature specialty curated menus from celebrity chefs. This particular kids menu is designed by MasterChef Junior Season 9 Winner Bryson McGlynn and Season 8 semifinalist Ivy Childs. The food items are both familiar and a little out of people’s comfort zone. It reflects part of the fun that a vacation offers.

As a family-friendly resort brand, the collaboration with MasterChef Junior shows how the Hyatt properties appreciate the intersection of food, culture, and travel. Being able to offer unique, engaging experiences for its guests will make their resorts a priority over other options.

This special programming will be available at select Dreams Resorts and Spas in Latin America and the Caribbean. Check with the properties’ websites for booking and additional information.
