While KFC's infamous herbs and spices are a carefully guarded secret, the finger licking good flavor is known far and wide. After getting saucy, the popular quick service restaurant brand is ready for a good drizzle and Mike’s Hot Honey delivers.

Within the restaurant world, the chicken continues to dominate menus. What started as chicken sandwich wars have evolved to nugget battles and saucy sieges. The old question of where’s the beef is off the table. Everyone focuses on the battle for clucking supremacy.

Overall, KFC’s newest menu offerings have received positive responses. From the flavorful sauces to the Original Recipe chicken tenders, the newer offerings invigorated the brand. When paired with value meal specials, few people could resist the desire to place an order.

How does the KFC and Mike’s Hot Honey collaboration bring guests to the table?

From breakfast to dessert to even cocktails, Mike’s Hot Honey has taken over the food conversation. Whether people first discovered the sticky, sweet, and spicy drizzle on a pizza or heaped a spoonful into a recipe, it has become a staple, like a condiment, on the table. That kick of flavor helps any dish from being bland.

Bringing Mike’s Hot Honey to KFC is a smart choice. Honey and fried chicken have long been paired together. The combination of salty and sweet works. Why just put honey on a biscuit. It is meant for any of the food on the plate.

Speaking to the menu collaboration,  Catherine Tan-Gillespie, Chief Marketing Officer and Development Officer, KFC U.S said “Combining KFC’s flavorful fried chicken with the bold, sweet heat of Mike’s Hot Honey just makes sense. Crispy, juicy, salty, spicy, sweet – it’s food alchemy that’s meant to be! These new meal deals are so irresistibly finger lickin’ good, you’ll wonder how you ever lived without them.”

The Mike’s Hot Honey will be available starting on February 9, just in time for the big game party. Hopefully, the swicy flavor can keep other “hot” reactions tabled during the table.

Additionally, starting on February 10, there are two $7 box meal deals that feature the two foods. The Three-Piece Original Recipe Tenders are served with an individual side and biscuit. The Two-Piece Fried chicken, available in Original Recipe of Extra Crispy, is paired with an individual side and biscuit. Both are served with Mike’s Hot Honey.

The Mike’s Hot Honey offering can be included on any nuggets, tenders, or sandwiches. It is available why supplies last.
