While some people have been prepping that food feast for days, others might not be prepared for the holiday extravaganza. Luckily, several restaurants have a Thanksgiving meal that brings all the homemade feels. Sometimes it is better to buy versus cook.

Even though some people are willing to try their hand at cooking, the meal might look a little more like Rachel Green than Ida Garten. That cooking fail is not the end of the world. Given that guests appreciate the effort made, the meal does not have to be perfect.

But, if cooking sounds more arduous than reading War and Peace in a single setting, ordering or eating out can be a better option. Luckily, there are plenty of options to be enjoyed.

Hard Rock Café has a special Thanksgiving menu. While guests can choose that classic burger too, the Thanksgiving menu includes a traditional food feast. From turkey to the classic sides, the meal is available for dine-in or takeout.

Cracker Barrel is always a popular choice on Thanksgiving. While it is a little late to order a catering meal, the restaurants will be serving all their traditional fare. At least at Cracker Barrel, there will be no lumpy gravy.

Maggiano’s will be open on Thanksgiving Day. With the brand’s new elevated cocktails and revamped menu items, the classic Italian fare has a flavor upgrade. These family style dishes are hearty helpings. For anyone with a big appetite, it will definitely satisfy.

Ruth’s Chris will be serving their signature steaks to guests. While beef might not be the traditional Thanksgiving fare, the expertly prepared meat is better than any dry turkey. Check with local restaurants for reservations.

In addition to the elevated offerings, other fast casual restaurants may be open. From Denny’s to IHOP, there are plenty of places to stop after that morning turkey trot. Filling up on a big meal before a family dinner can be a good thing.

From wanting to escape that tenuous dinner conversation to making up for a less than stellar meal, there are plenty of last minute Thanksgiving dinner options on the table. Isn’t that something to be grateful for?
