Even though winter is on full blast, springtime is just around the corner. The new Hershey’s Easter candies continue a theme that started last year. Ready to unwrap a bounty of bunny treats?

From the classic Easter basket to the overflowing dessert table, Easter candy is a part of many people’s springtime celebrations. It is more than just jelly beans hidden in plastic eggs. Just like the favorite cookies served during the holidays, people must have those Reese’s Eggs, chocolate bunnies, and Cadbury mini eggs.

For Easter 2025, Hershey’s is continuing a theme that started last year. It is all about shapes. After the KitKat launched Santa and Bear shapes, it will have Bunnies for Easter. This cute little design is a sweet alternative to those bigger chocolate bunnies.

In addition to the Kit Kat offering, Reese’s is adding a new shape, carrots. The individually wrapped carrot shaped peanut butter cups are a fun option for a candy bowl or hidden treat for a candy hunt.

Although this idea is not necessarily a swap for eating some real carrots, it is fun to see a crossover between the food concepts. While eggs are a traditional image for Easter, bunnies and carrots go hand in hand. For people who like to do a larger candy or dessert display, the possibilities are many.

Reese’s is also offering a new flavor. Following up on the Sugar Cookie, Caramel, and Lava filled options, Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups with  Spring Sprinkles is all about the fun visual. Although the sprinkles do not necessarily add another flavor layer, the slight textural change is enjoyable. Plus, seeing the brightly colored shapes inside the creamy center is fun.

Lastly, Twizzlers is joining the bunny shape theme, too. Available in cherry flavor, these poppable bites could make for fun décor on dessert. Maybe it is time to create an Easter house made out of sugar cookies.

The new Hershey’s Easter candies join a long list of returning favorites. Of course, the classic Reese’s Eggs are back. As are a wide variety of Jolly Ranchers and other assorted Hershey’s candies.

For the more sophisticated palate, the Cadbury Royal Dark Eggs are back for a limited time. Breaking through that chocolate shell to reveal the rich, chocolatey filling is the ultimate treat. This little indulgence always has people salivating.

It is time to hop on down the bunny trail to grab some bags of the new Hershey’s Easter candies. The seasonal candies will be available in stores and online later this month, while supplies last.
