7-Eleven twists open a new flavor, Coca-Cola OREO Zero Sugar Slurpee

While the iconic Coca-Cola Slurpee will always be a hands down favorite, a new version is getting people to thirst for that first sip. Ready to try the ultimate flavor combination of Coca-Cola OREO Zero Sugar Slurpee?

Recently, the classic Slurpee has taken on various types of flavor combinations. It is more than just cherry or even a boldly colored Blue Raspberry. Spicy mango versions and vitaminwater infused beverages capture food trends in creative ways.

The latest offering builds on the success of the OREO and Coca-Cola Zero Sugar partnership. Recently released, the OREO cookie and the Coca-Cola Zero Sugar beverage infuse their respective flavors into each of the offerings. While everyone will have to take that first sip to weigh in with their verdict, it should be quite good. Although it will be difficult to dip that OREO cookie into the Slurpee, it might be worth a try. Could this idea be the next treat food trend?

More importantly, 7-Eleven points out the concept of “bringing together the snack aisle and the Slurpee drink machine.” This idea seems to be clear in its recent offerings.

For example, the brand worked with Hostess to offer a Cherry Slurpee flavor. Although there was not a Twinkie Slurpee, there are plenty of snack items that could be transformed into the favorite frozen drink.

Sweet snacks, like cookies and cakes, might be the easy or obvious choice. But, what about some curious takes on other snack foods. A “flamin’ hot” Slurpee could be quite tasty. Only time will tell if those ideas show up at America’s convenience store.
