Mastering the perfect sear is only one element to a great steak dinner. The finishing touches on the prime beef is just as important as the seasoning prior to it being kissed by the flame. With A.1. Steakhouse Butter, that savory, unctuous delicious bite is guaranteed.

Many people have their tried and true secrets to cooking the perfect steak. Some people swear by the reverse sear. Others believe that only course salt and pepper should be used as seasonings. While all those preferences can be true, one element supersedes them all. Everyone wants a juicy steak on the plate.

Chefs have long told cooks that meat needs to rest before that knife dares to make a cut. Keeping all the juices inside that tender cut is vital to the overall flavor.

Since home cooks are often looking for that chef hack or trick to give themselves a master chef cooking advantage, finishing butter has become that item. While many chefs baste a steak with butter during the cooking process, a little extra pat that slowly melts onto the steak is delicious, too.

The new A.1. Steakhouse Butter is a take on that cooking idea as well as a food trend. Compound butters have become uber popular. From a pop of seasoning to complex compilation of flavors, butter is more than salted or unsalted.

Speaking to the new food offering, Holland Robinson, Brand Manager, A.1. said,  “From sauces to butter, we know our fans are constantly seeking new ways to recreate the steakhouse experience at home. An iconic accompaniment to red meat since 1824, A.1. knows steak. By blending time-honored tradition with modern culinary trends, the new Steakhouse Butter is the perfect partner to the grill, delivering a bold, buttery and savory complement to any meal.”

The new A.1. Steakhouse Butter combines the signature steak sauce, herbs, and butter. The ready to spread option can be used on a steak, other protein, or even vegetables. While it was designed for beef, the flavor has enough versatility that it can be used in a myriad of recipes.

Although putting this specialty butter on a steak and side might be a little much, there is another option. For example, using the specialty butter with mushrooms and then topping a steak with those mushrooms would be delicious. It captures all that flavor.

Could more brand butters be hitting grocery store shelves? There seems to be a market for the concept and consumers appreciate food brand collaborations. Maybe there is a ranch butter or even some mustard butter in the future.

A.1. Steakhouse Butter is rolling out to retailers. The suggested retail price is $4.99.
