After a long hiatus, everyone is ready to see the next Diamond sparkle and capture the hearts of the eligible bachelors. While love might be in the air, fans thirst for enticing Bridgerton cocktails to sip while watching all the tantalizing entanglements.

The lust people have for Bridgeton has made them hungry for food and beverages associated with the Netflix show. While coffees have a splash of English flavors, there are more beverages that can be poured.

Many spirits brands have created a few Bridgerton cocktails that will have people toasting to the twists and turns of the new season. Even if love might be just beyond a character’s grasp, these sip always satisfy.

Penelope's First Love

While a first love might be unrequited, that initial taste of the passion that burns brightly is never forgotten. With this cocktail, the sweet florals with the tart citrus capture the feelings that often accompany those love connections. At first the beautiful blooms only to find that the sweetness twists to a tart note that leaves people wanting more.

Ingredients:

1 oz. Duke & Dame

1.5 oz Lillet Rose Aperitif

1.5 oz fresh red grapefruit juice

.5 oz St. Germain Elderflower

Method:

Combine all ingredients in a cocktail tin and shake until cold. Pour in a chilled Nick and Nora glass. Garnish with orchid flower.

The Queen's Diamond

While the Queen’s Diamond might be the jewel of the season, everyone can spark when a cocktail is so enticing. This Bridgerton inspired cocktail has mystery yet never becomes too aloof.

Ingredients

1.5 oz Duke & Dame

.75 oz Amaretto liqueur 

.75 oz Baileys (Irish Cream)

.5 oz fresh lemon juice

.5 oz blue curacao 

Method:

Combine all ingredients in a cocktail tin and shake until cold. Pour in a chilled coupe glass.

Earl Grey syrup: Add 2 Earl Grey tea bags to 1 cup of boiling water and steep for 5-8 mins. Then remove tea bags and add 1 cup of sugar to tea and stir to combine until sugar dissolves. Pour into an airtight container.

Serve: Combine Duke & Dame, Italicus, Earl Grey syrup, and fresh lemon juice in a cocktail tin and shake until cold. Pour into the champagne flute and top off with champagne. Garnish with gold glitter and twisted lemon strip.

Ketel One Vodka’s Waking Dream

Although love can put some people in a dream state, this recipe from Ketel One is far from a fantasy. The robust flavors keep people alert to capture even that fleeting look from that special someone.

Ingredients:

1 ½ oz Ketel One Vodka

1 ½ oz fresh espresso (chilled to room temp or fresh ground/brewed coffee)

½ oz chocolate-black tea infused syrup (1 part sugar : 1 part water)

Method

Combine all ingredients in a Boston shaker, shake well with plenty of ice and strain into a chilled martini glass. 

Grate fresh chocolate over the top.

To make infused syrup: Simply combine 1 cup sugar with 1 cup water in a pot. Heat gently and stir to dissolve. Infuse with 4 tea bags on lowest heat for 15 minutes (don’t boil). Strain and cool for use.

Ketel One Vodka’s Peach Tea-Ni

While many people might love their espresso martinis, this twist on a martini is a little more sophisticated. Sometimes, the subtle, floral flavors are quite intriguing.

Ingredients:

1.5 oz. Ketel One® Vodka

0.5 oz. fresh lemon juice

0.5 oz. simple syrup

1.5 oz. white tea (steeped with white cranberry juice and fresh muddled raspberries)

2 dashes lemon bitters

METHOD

Combine all ingredients in a mixing glass and shake with ice. 

Double strain into a chilled martini glass.

Garnish with a lemon twist and raspberry.

Ketel One Botanical’s Peach Toddy

While elegant ladies might pour tea into a delicate cup, this tea cocktail is slightly more potent. The floral elements make it feel feminine yet it packs a big punch of flavor.

Ingredients:

2 oz Ketel One Peach & Orange Blossom

1 peach tea teabag

1 large lemon wedge

1 tbsp. honey

1 cinnamon stick

1 dash orange bitters

4-5 oz hot water

Garnish: lemon wheel

Method:

Add Ketel One, bitters, teabag, cinnamon stick, and honey to a mug.

Top with 4-5 ounces of hot water and stir to dissolve honey.

Let sit for 3 minutes, then remove the teabag. 

Squeeze large lemon wedge into a mug and discard. Stir to incorporate all ingredients.

Garnish with a lemon wheel, in glass, and enjoy.

Paloma Tea Party

While a paloma might have people thinking of a stunning beach escape, this cocktail from 21Seeds has some floral flavor and décor that brings a taste of the tropics to a different locale. Plus, the flower ice is an idea that many people could borrow for other cocktails.

Ingredients:

6 oz 21Seeds Grapefruit Hibiscus Infused Tequila

2 oz simple syrup

2 oz lime juice

6 oz grapefruit juice

Grapefruit slices (for flower ice)

Method

Use grapefruit slices to make whimsical flower ice - add water and freeze!

Add cocktail ingredients to a teapot with regular ice and mix

Pour into individual tea cups with flower ice and enjoy!

Alpine Wildflower Old Fashioned

Although there may be no physical mountains to climb in Bridgerton, surviving the season can seem like a momentous summit. This cocktail from Stranahan’s Original Single Malt Whiskey has a sweetness that contrasts the robust whiskey. It is a dichotomy that is quite intriguing.

Ingredients:

 2 oz Stranahan’s Original

1 brown sugar cube

2 dashes Angostura bitters

Method:

In a rocks glass, muddle 2 oz Stranahan’s Original, 1 brown sugar cube, and pinch grated cinnamon. Add in 2 dashes Angostura bitters. Stir to combine. Add ice. Garnish with a sprinkle of Edible Wildflowers.
