Racing fans are ready for the engines to start the 2024 NASCAR season at the Daytona 500. A little rain will not stop Cabo Wabo Tequila from shaking up excitement over its partnership expansion as the Official Tequila Sponsor of NASCAR.  

From the diehard racing fan to the newbie experiencing the thrill of racecars hitting the straightaway at top speeds, NASCAR brings all types of fans to the track. Before the drivers start their engines, fans enjoy all the magic and pageantry that comes with race day. Cabo Wabo Tequila will continue to be part of that racing experience.  

Last year, the celebrated tequila brand launched its NASCAR partnership. In addition to its presence at various events across the country, it was the named sponsor of the Cabo Wabo 250. The first race in the 2023 NASCAR Xfinity Series, the Michigan Speedway event was a rousing success.  

To kick off the 2024 NASCAR season, Cabo Wabo Tequila continues its partnership with new activations and fan experiences. As Campari America’s Senior Director of Marketing for White Spirits, Mark Watson said, “Cabo Wabo Tequila is thrilled to enter our second season as the Official Tequila Sponsor of NASCAR, and this year we’re continuing to encourage fans to get the most out of their day at the track safely while enjoying the experiences we all love about this iconic event. This means not only rooting for your favorite driver but getting home safely at the end of race day. By placing ads with Uber to help get the message out and providing ride vouchers, we want to make it easier than ever to create a plan and celebrate responsibly.” 

While many people are happy to raise a cocktail in celebration, appreciating the responsible aspect to any sporting event is vital for liquor brands. The Cabo Wabo Tequila pledge invites fans to plan for that ride home after the checker flag is waved. The first 500 fans who sign the pledge can be eligible for an Uber gift card. No one is saying that people should not imbibe while enjoying a day at the track. But, if they choose to enjoy some cocktails, it is better to leave the driving to someone else.  

With the mocktail space becoming more robust, Cabo Wabo Tequila is adding a non-leaded option to its Cabo Wabo Garage. The Bold & Iced Cold mocktail is a great option. The flavor is quite exciting, and no one will feel like they are missing out from enjoying that Cabo Wabo Smokeshow.  

As NASCAR season begins, the importance of brand partnerships, especially in the food and beverage space is clear. Up and down pit row, the visual showcases popular restaurants, trending beverages, and traditional favorites that have stood the test of time. Pairing racing teams, drivers, and NASCAR as a whole with these food and beverage brands is big business for everyone involved.
