Hilton Garden Inn’s Rossa Garden Spritz is a refreshing twist on the summer cocktail

To kick off the July, Hilton Garden Inn partnered with Aperol to offer its own take on the popular Aperol Spritz. While the classic Aperol Spritz brings a slightly bitter note, this version has a slightly sweeter taste from the Blood Orange Syrup.

The specialty Rossa Garden Spritz is available now through August 31 at all Garden Grille locations in the U.S. Although it may not be served from behind a little door, it captures the Italian summer vibe with its flavor and its fun. Whether it is the cocktail to enjoy after a long day of sightseeing or the pre-meal cocktail before an epic evening out, it fits any occasion.

For those people who may not be traveling to a Hilton Garden Inn this summer, the food and beverage team has graciously shared the recipe.

Here’s how to make the Rossa Garden Spritz.

Ingredients:

½ oz Blood Orange Syrup

3 oz Prosecco

2 oz Aperol

1 oz Club Soda

Directions

Fill a wine glass with ice

Add Blood Orange Syrup

Add Prosecco

Add Aperol

Top with Club Soda

Garnish with blood orange and serve

For an even sweeter flavor, consider adding more Blood Orange Syrup. But, it should not exceed ¾ oz or the cocktail will become unbalanced.

Additionally, the garnish can make the whole drinking experience. Whether it is a fresh blood orange slice or dehydrated one, that little flourish makes the enjoyment even more satisfying.
