Hot Fudge Sundae Sparkling Water cracks open the ultimate sweet sip
While Liquid Death has proclaimed death to plastic, the newest flavor in collaboration with Van Leeuwen Ice Cream could have people putting dropping the spoon for the straw. Ready to sip on Hot Fudge Sundae Sparkling Water?
Over the years, Liquid Death has pushed the boundaries of what sparkling water can be. While their creative campaigns get heads turning, it is their flavorful refreshment that has people going back for more.
The same can be said about Van Leeuwen Ice Cream. While it might have started from a simple food truck, the company has a knack for blending classic and innovation. From that first pint of Kraft Mac and Cheese Ice cream to newer celebrity partnerships, the craft ice cream brand churns out creative flavor after flavor.
The new Hot Fudge Sundae is a first for both Liquid Death and Van Leeuwen. The popular sparkling beverage brand has never collaborated with another brand. Van Leeuwen has never stepped outside of the ice cream space.
Speaking about the partnership, Greg Fass, Liquid Death’s VP of Marketing said "We've seen a lot of brands make their own flavor of ice cream, but we're the first brand to make ice cream-flavored sparkling water that tastes exactly like a hot fudge sundae. We're all about making healthy beverages more fun, so teaming up with Van Leeuwen Ice Cream to make the first chuggable, 20 calorie hot fudge sundae was the perfect pairing.”
While this boundary pushing beverage might be a first for both brands, it is an idea that has tremendous merit. Many people like sweeter sodas. From root beer to cream soda, those flavors have been staples.
But, the sparkling water market has not found a viable alternative, until now. While fruit forward options fill the shelf, people want something to quench the thirst for sweetness. This hot fudge sundae sparkling water is the perfect choice.
While many people will happily sip on this beverage just by itself, it can be even more for the culinary creative types. From a sweet floater on a cocktail to using it in an ice cream float, there are so many options.
Truthfully, this sparkling water flavor with a little bourbon would make for a great dessert cocktail. For anyone who likes to explore their playful side, it is definitely time to purchase some cans and start pouring.
The new Hot Fudge Sundae Sparkling Water from Liquid Death and Van Leeuwen is available now. Single cans can be found at scoop shops. Liquid Death will sell 8-pack 19.2 oz tallboys via its Amazon shop.
