As Royal Caribbean prepares for guests to embark on its latest, impressive ship to join the fleet, each visually stunning, technologically innovative, and flavorful food and beverage feast has people eagerly anticipating that experience. At this Icon of the Seas bar, people will be clamoring for a table and might just sit there morning, noon, and night.

While the Aquadome is unlike any other ship experience and Thrill Island offers intense activities, some guests might prefer to find the quiet areas where all the hustle and bustle comes and goes yet they can observe, react, and enjoy the action in their own way.

On the Icon of the Seas, the new, vibrant spaces are balanced by familiar favorites that are part of the Royal Caribbean legacy. Although there is a sense of the familiar, some of the tried and true locales are getting an update. One example is the 1400 Lobby Bar.

During a conversation with Ed Eiswirth, Senior Director of Beverage Operations of Royal Carribean, he believes that the bar will be “the heartbeat of hub of the ship. I think that it will be the meet up point. It is centrally located right across from the Pearl. It has beautiful views of the Pearl and the windows. It is going to be very attractive to guests.”

Given those sentiments, the 1400 Bar menu is designed to fit any time of day. From a mid-day break or a stop before dinner, it can fit any and all occasions.

Looking at the potential offerings, it will have choices like fruit forward, lighter libations that are easy drinking. Basking in the daylight by the windows, it can be a quiet nook to sip and savor the view as the world goes by.

For night, the stronger, prohibition inspired, classic cocktails embrace the lively, boisterous moments that fill the promenade with activity. It will be full of energy and shaken cocktails will keep that ambiance going.

From an iconic Bloody Mary to the 1400 signature cocktail to end the night, this Icon of the Seas Bar will be the place to see and be seen on board. Even though there are so many sights to explore, carve out a little time to enjoy the moment in this enclave.

Icon of the Seas from Royal Caribbean will begin its inaugural season in January 2024. Leaving from Miami, the ship will feature both Eastern and Western Caribbean 7-night itineraries for its first season.
