So, we’re sweetening Leap Day by the dozens, including for fans whose true birthday comes around only every four years.”
First, anyone who happens to have a February 29 birthday can receive a free Original Glazed dozen. No additional purchase is required, but the guest must show proof that February 29 is their actual birthday.
Additionally, all guests can purchase a second dozen Original Glazed doughnuts for $2.29 when purchasing a regular priced dozen. It is the bonus that will have everyone cheering.
What other food brands are offering Leap Day deals?
Similar other special occasions, Leap Day brings lots of food deals to the table. In addition to the Krispy Kreme offering, other brands are joining the celebration.
Chipotle is marking the “Extra Day” with a free extra. On Friday February 29, guacamole will not be extra. With the code EXTRA24, digital orders can receive free guacamole.
In addition, Chipotle will be offering a special Instagram event. The official Chipotle Instagram account will offer a scavenger hunt. 29 fans will receive free guacamole for a year.
7-Eleven in joining the extra day fun. Five wings will be $2.29 on Leap Day. Whether lunch or a snack, no one will turn day a wings deal.
Noodles and Company will offer its Reward Members 29% off orders of $29 or more on 2/29. The offer could make dinner plans easy on the 29th.
