Krispy Kreme Rewards rolls out more sweet benefits to its members

While that Red Hot light can be a beacon of deliciousness, customers want to feel that their doughnut purchase does more than satisfy a sweet craving. With the new Krispy Kreme Rewards benefits, members will be rolling in the bigger payouts.

Reward programs have become a constant within the restaurant industry. Although some people might appreciate that they local watering hole is the place where everyone knows their name, some people prefer to have a bonus for making that food purchase time and again. A warm welcome is cheerful, but free food is more satisfying.

Even though reward programs are abundant, hitting that redemption level can often seem like a mighty climb. If the whole point of the program is to reward loyalty, some consumers might feel that they are trying to reach an elusive goal.

As Dave Skena, Global Chief Brand Officer for Krispy Kreme said, “While other brands seem to be making it harder on loyalty members, we’re making Krispy Kreme Rewards easier and even more generous. We take a lot of pride in being generous to all our guests, and that’s not changing. By becoming a Krispy Kreme Rewards member, you’ll experience even more sweetness.”  

To kick off the new changes, Krispy Kreme is giving current members and new members a free Original Glazed Dozen doughnuts. Current members will receive their free dozen on April 30 and new members have until May 11 to claim the free food offer.

In addition, the revised rewards program will offer a more robust point system that will make it easier to hit redemption levels. While many people appreciate the free food and beverages, the other perks are equally enticing. From free birthday perks to special access to limited edition offerings, it is clear that membership has its privileges.

More information on the rewards program can be found online or via the Krispy Kreme app. All current reward members will be automatically transferred to the new program.
