Cucumber Gin Fizz

Cucumbers are often bountiful during summer. While many people crave their briny cousin, the fresh, bright cucumber is perfect on a warm day. This refreshing cocktail is a perfect aperitif or just a simple sipper on its own.

Ingredients

1 oz Aviation American Gin

.75 oz fresh lime juice

.5 oz simple syrup

3-4 cucumber slices

Club Soda to top

Garnish- mint sprig and cucumber ribbon

Method:

Muddle the cucumber slices in a shaker

Add gin, lime juice, and simple syrup

Add ice and shake vigorously for 30 seconds.

Strain into a glass filled with ice

Top with club soda

Garnish with mint sprig and cucumber slice

Tully Honey Lemonade

Lemonade is always a great summer beverage. It goes with almost any food on the table. This “adult” version is slightly tart. It is an easy drinking cocktail that will be the hit of any gathering.

Ingredients:

 1 ½ parts Tullamore D.E.W. Honey

3 parts lemonade

Squeeze of fresh lemon

Top with club soda

Method:

Combine all ingredients. Stir and pour.

LALO Margarita Naranja

Margaritas and Aperol Spritz are popular summer cocktails. On sunny days, they just hit right. This cocktail combines the two classics into the same glass. It might be the new trend that takes over the conversation.  

Ingredients:

2 ounces LALO Tequila

1/2 ounce Aperol

1/2 ounce fresh lime juice

1/2 ounce fresh orange juice

1/2 ounce Cointreau

Method

Combine all ingredients in an ice-filled cocktail shaker. Shake to chill and dilute. Strain into an ice-filled, salt-rimmed rocks glass. Garnish with an orange wheel. Makes one serving. 

Berry Fiddich Fizz

Berries are bountiful during the summer. This cocktail features the sweet, juicy blueberries. With a hint of tartness from the Italian Lemon Soda, it is a well balanced cocktail that is refreshing all day long.

Ingredients

1 1/2 parts Glenfiddich 12 Year Old

1 part Blueberry Juice

1/2 part simple syrup

3 parts Italian Lemon Soda
