While tots, Slushies, and more menu items might be classic food choices at America’s favorite drive-in, the new Sonic Smasher takes the popular quick service restaurant in a new direction. When guests want a bigger, bolder flavor, this cheeseburger delivers that bodacious bite.

First and foremost, the Sonic Smashburger celebrates what makes a smashburger great, texture. By hand smashing the patty, the burger has both crispy edges and has seasoning in every bite. It ensures that every mouthful satisfies with bold flavor.

Since there is a double cheese layer, cheeseburger fans appreciate the extra gooeyness. Anyone who loves cheese on a burger appreciates that meltiness in every bite.

With diced onion and crinkle cut pickles topping the cheeseburger, the tangy and crunchy notes add to the textural complexity. Given the cheeseburger is served on a soft potato bun, it is vital to have some extra crunch.
