After satisfying that PSL thirst, Starbucks is ready to rollout a new beverage that celebrates the nutty side of fall. The new Pecan Crunch Oatmilk Latte brings together two food trends for ultimate sipping satisfaction.

Starbucks appreciates that beverage innovation is key to keeping guests engaged. While classics or favorites will always have their place on the menu, the reality is that people want something different, exciting, or otherwise creative in that cup.

When it comes to fall flavors, the ingredients tend to fit into a particular category. As the weather turns chilly, people crave warm, spicy, even nutty notes. It does not matter if the beverage is served hot or cold, it is the underlying taste that people crave.

With the new Starbucks Pecan Crunch Oatmilk Latte, the coffee beverage is subtle yet rich and comforting. Starting with the Starbucks Blonde Espresso, the roast is rounded, almost subtle. It offers a balanced foundation for the other flavors to build.

The nutty pecan is apparent, but it is the brown butter notes that make this beverage special. Similar to how a great recipe uses the nuttiness of the brown butter to enhance the complexity, this latte applies the same concept. The layered nuttiness makes it luscious, even indulgent.

Additionally, it is nice to see Starbucks focus on Oatmilk lattes. While its previous fall releases showcased the plant-based ingredient, it seems important for the food industry to continue to expand the menu to be all milk inclusive. Not only does it make guests feel seen, but also it adds viscosity that other milks may not achieve.

Lastly, the pecan crunch topping is a nice touch. Although boba might bring that bursting quality to sipping, a little crunch topping adds whimsy. Just like the three coffee beans on an espresso martini, the garnish enhances the overall drinking experience.

While the Starbucks Pecan Crunch Oatmilk Latte is poised to be a hit, there is another pecan forward option, too. Salted Pecan Cream Cold Foam brings that nutty enhancement to any beverage. Hot, cold, dairy, or nondairy, everyone can get cracking into the fall flavor.

The new pecan forward flavors will be available starting on September 19 at participating Starbucks locations. The options are available while supplies last.
