Truly Tequila Soda rolls out vacation vibes to a nationwide audience
While some people might love that frozen drink with a little umbrella sitting on the beach, those vacation vibes do not have to be limited to sandy shores. With Truly Tequila Soda, the ready to drink cocktails are a light, refreshing beverage that will keep the good times going.

Last year, Truly Tequila Soda rolled out in some regions. After a huge positive response, the brand is giving everyone a taste for the summer. According to Matt Withington, Truly Hard Seltzer’s senior director of marketing said, “As an original innovator in the hard seltzer space, we’re constantly looking to delight our drinkers in new ways. Last year, lucky test markets received a first taste of Truly Tequila Soda and we’re thrilled to share it with drinkers everywhere and invite them to take a ‘tequilacation’ with every sip.”
The Truly Tequila Soda is available in Lime, Grapefruit, Watermelon, and Pineapple Guava. Each offering is made with Tequila Blanco, real fruit juice, and sparkling water.
Looking at the four flavors, the offerings seem designed for warm weather, sunny day drinking. While the classic Lime could be an option for people who want to stay away from an overly sugary, sour margarita, that flavor is approachable to get drinkers to try the new cocktail.
Given that the Truly Tequila Soda is 110 calories and 5% ABV, it is a lighter option compared to some other tropical cocktails. At the same time, a few extras could make the swap even more enjoyable. Pouring the RTD cocktail into a glass with some fresh lime and even spicy, seasoned rim could be even more enjoyable than another frozen sipper.
For the more flavor adventurous, the Pineapple Guava is the must try option. While other brands have paired the tropical guava with other fruits, the sweetness of the tropical pineapple blends with guava in a special way. It will be the must try flavor of the line.
In addition, the pineapple guava would pair well with a variety of food options. In addition to the traditional summer barbecue fare, the ready to drink cocktail would be delightful with a jerk chicken or even some mofongo. Leaning into those Caribbean flavors would make this beverage pop.
