Universal Helios Grand Hotel transports guests to a Mediterranean-inspired getaway
While Universal Orlando Resorts offer guests immersive theme park experiences full of imaginative and creative thrills, the hotel properties continue that storyline in a different way. At Universal Helios Grand Hotel, the Epic Universe destination welcomes guests into a Mediterranean-inspired getaway of mythical proportions.
Set to be the signature hotel property at Universal Orlando’s Epic Universe, Universal Helios Grand Hotel, a Loews Hotel, will be more than a convenient, onsite location to unwind after a long day at the park. From its prime location overlooking Celestial Park to its lush on-site features, the property is set to become a destination, itself.
In a recent announcement from Universal Orlando Resorts and Loews Hotels, the property features appear to be as grandiose as its namesake Greek sun god. Shining brightly at the back of the theme park, it beckons guests away from the fast paced coasters to a luxurious escape.
What food and dining experiences epitomize the Mediterranean style of Universal Helios Grand Hotel?
From lounging by the pool to views above the sprawling theme park, Universal Helios Grand Hotel food and dining experiences blend ambiance with flavorful bites. Each unique space offers guests a taste of the Mediterranean vibe without having to get the passport stamped.
For example, the Flora Taverna is the dining centerpiece. From the open kitchen to the bright décor, the space feels warm, inviting. Serving Mediterranean comfort foods and pizza, the indoor and outdoor seating mimics the feeling a coastal escape. With Celestial Park in view, guests can feel connected to the park yet secluded in their own enclave.
When guests long for a little relaxation away from the parks, the Lotus Lagoon presents a watery escape. Whether it is sipping on themed beverages from a lounger or enjoying an easy meal in the sunshine, it is a little slice of fun.
Additionally, the property will feature Aurora Market, a coffee shop and grab-and-go food stop for quick bites. It is the perfect place to fuel up in the morning or grab a small treat before retreating to the room.
Lastly, the Bar Helios will be the place to see and be seen. Featuring 360-degree views of Epic Universe and the City Beautiful, the signature spot will be a must stop for both guests and even locals. Sipping with a view is always a popular choice for a getaway.
Universal Helios Grand Hotel, from Loews Hotel, will open in 2025. The exact opening date for this property as well as Epic Universe has yet to be revealed.
