Pringles brings back several fan favorite flavors to everyone’s delight
As more and more food fans become vocal, food brands appreciate they must listen and find a way to satisfy those intense cravings. Pringles decided to bring back several fan favorite snacks. Which one will you pop into first?
Flavor trends seem to ebb and flow. While swicy filled restaurant menus, the snack aisle has taken a different turn. From classic brands to newer entrants, the big “dill” is all about the pickle.
Previously, Pringles Dill Pickle was an early adopter of that flavor trend. While it might have been a more curious combination in that flavor stack, people hungered for the taste. Whether eaten on its own or stacked in a sandwich, people could not get enough of that chip.
Mauricio Jenkins, US Head of Marketing for Pringles explained, "From TikTok videos to fan requests, the nation's dill pickle craving is undeniable – and Pringles always aims to satisfy the latest trending flavor craving. With the return of Pringles Dill Pickle, we're bringing joy to our die-hard fans and giving first-timers the chance to indulge in the fanfare while joining in on the pickle trend."
For those who might not remember, the Pringles Dill Pickle is briny but not overly pickle-forward. It has that tanginess people crave.
Personally, this flavor was perfect on a chicken sandwich or hamburger. Instead of another soggy topping, the Pringles have that pickly-taste with the crunch.
What other Pringles fan favorite flavors are back on the shelf?
In addition to the Dill Pickle, Pringles brought back its Hot Ones flavors. The special collaboration features a new flavor and two returning favorites. The flavors include new Pringles Hot Ones Los Calientes Barbacoa and returning flavors Pringles Hot Ones Los Calientes Rojo and Pringles Hot Ones Los Calientes Verde.
The new flavor, the Barbacoa is a curious choice. While it is spicy, the smoky notes are more apparent. This offering is about the whole flavor profile. It is earthy, smoky, and spicy. This crisp would be great as a topping on a taco salad.
The returning flavors, Rojo and Verde are bold. The Rojo features serrano and habanero. It felt more spice forward. While the Verde has the heat but the applewood red jalapenos feel more subtle. Both are intense but in different ways.
The Pringles flavors are rolling out to retailers now. Check with stores for availability and pricing.
