While many people enjoy the fun sayings under the cap, Snapple beverages always provide delicious refreshment. But, one way of enjoying that drink has not been available, until now. Ready to get a fresh Snapple straight from the beverage fountain?
As many people appreciate, a beverage from the fountain often has a fresher flavor. Who hasn’t appreciated the difference in taste when that soda is poured at a high turnover quick service restaurant. It isn’t that the beverages in the bottle or can are stale. There is something that hits differently when the cup is filled and drunk immediately.
Until now, Snapple has not been available in a fountain format. Even though there has been many brand innovations, this option has not bee poured. Now, Snapple Zero Sugar Peach Tea will be available via the fountain at 7-Eleven.
Speaking about this new offering, Sheila Bonner, SVP of Foodservice Solutions at Keurig Dr Pepper said, “Retailers are looking to offer a variety of beverages for consumers on fountains that satisfy both impulse treat and better-for-you occasions. Introducing an iconic brand like Snapple to this format, particularly in the Zero Sugar variety, hits on that need on the go, alone or paired with a favorite snack and we are excited for consumers to experience their favorite Snapple tea beverage from the fountain for the first time.”
A couple items about this announcement are curious. First, 7-Eleven is a great choice for the Snapple brand. America’s convenience store has a wide array of consumers. The sales data will give Snapple an opportunity to appreciate the demand for its fountain beverage. If consumers are thirsty for it, a larger rollout could be a possibility.
Additionally, the flavor choice is interesting. First, a Zero Sugar appeals to a wide audience. From the person who prefers a less sweet option to people who are calorie conscious, it hits lots of groups. With a lower calorie option, people might be more willing to grab, drink, and not worry. The same cannot be said about other higher caloric option.
Also, the peach flavor makes it special. Anyone can do lemon or even just a plain iced tea. The peach makes it juicy, and even fun. It has a broad appeal, too. Whether drunk on its own or enjoyed with a favorite food, the flavor versatility makes it a great option.
