Before Value Meals took over the menu, the Subway Footlong offered that extra food for the money spent. To kick off 2025, the popular quick service restaurant adds the Subway Meal of the Day to showcase the variety and value on the brand’s menu.
Most people have a favorite Subway sub. It might be the meatball with all its heartiness or it could be a simple turkey with lettuce and tomato. Even though there are hundreds of ways to customize that order, many people go back to the same order time and again.
With the Subway Meal of the Day, the enticement of getting a $6.99 or a footlong for $9.99 can get people to break away from the tried-and-true order. A little variety can make for a more flavorful week.
As Doug Fry, President, Subway North America said, "Subway's new Meal of the Day showcases the variety of better for you ingredients across our entire menu, our signature subs, and our definition of value – where you shouldn't have to sacrifice quality for an affordable price. Whether dining on-the-go to fuel an active lifestyle or enjoying the moment after a long day, Subway has made ordering a satisfying and tasty meal a whole lot easier."
The Subway Meal of the Day features the following:
Monday - Cold Cut Combo
Tuesday - All-Pro Sweet Onion Chicken Teriyaki
Wednesday - Meatball Marinara
Thursday - All-New Baja Chipotle Chicken
Friday – Tuna
Saturday - The Ultimate B.M.T.
Sunday - The Philly
The special promotion includes Subway’s newest food offering, the Baja Chipotle Chicken, which is part of the Baja Bliss promotion. Available for a limited time, the Baja Bliss Collection features the uber popular Baja Chipotle sauce.
The specialty Baja Bliss subs feature either chicken or turkey. Stacked on Artisan Italian bread, the sub includes veggies as Subway’s SubKrunch and Baja Chipotle Sauce.
For people who cannot get enough of that specialty flavor, Subway brought back the Miss Vickie's Baja Chipotle potato chips for a limited time. These chips are a Subway exclusive.
As the new year begins, it is time to resolve to bring new flavors into the routine. Subway’s Meal of the Day is the perfect excuse to break out of the flavor rut and save in the process.
