With all the discussion on food prices, rising costs, and other money matters, Target is hoping to give shoppers a little relief. This year’s Easter dinner bundle is just under $5 per person. Plus, there could be some leftovers for a meal or two after the holiday celebration.

Shoppers are more thoughtful with their purchases. It is more than tariffs causing prices to double. While no one is suggesting that people should hoard food, beverages, and other staples, taking advantage of bundles and other savings does make sense.

This Easter season, Target has an Easter meal for six that is cost effective. The Easter Meal for Under $25 is designed to serve six people. The meal includes the following:

Market Pantry Hickory Smoked Spiral-Cut Bone-In Ham

Good & Gather Russet Potatoes - 5lb

Campbell's Condensed Cream of Mushroom Soup

Favorite Day Take and Bake Baguettes

Good and Gather French Fried Onions (new)

Del Monte Pineapple Slices In 100% Juice 20oz (new)

Heinz Home Style Roasted Turkey Gravy

Del Monte Cut Green Beans (2 cans)

Stove Top Stuffing Mix For Turkey

Looking at this meal, it has everything that people traditionally want from an Easter dinner. From the ham to the potatoes, it makes sense. Additionally, the ingredients can be transformed in various ways. Whether it is mashed potatoes served with ham, a potato casserole with ham, or even some simple sandwiches, there are options beyond just slicing the meat.

Target combines value and flavor with its offerings

While many people appreciate the value with the Easter meal bundle, there are other food offerings that continue this value proposition. For example, the Good and Gather line recently launched its Collabs line.

Starting with Chef Ann Kim, the Korean influenced frozen food line has found an audience. From the iconic pickle pizza to Bulgogi inspired meatballs, the tasty offerings are reasonably priced. Giving people an opportunity to try bolder flavors without overspending is key to the Collabs line success.

Going forward, it will be interesting to see how Target leverages its cost value proposition. People are concerned with budgets, especially as everything gets more expensive. If the brand can find a way to offer flavorful, budget-friendly options, people will continue to shop at the store.
