Uber brings the spirits and cheer with new Carolers service
Certain holiday traditions make the season merry and bright. With the new Uber Carolers, it is the gift that keeps on giving. Even the grinchiest person will run to open the door to receive this holiday cheer.
The holiday season can be difficult. It is more than finding the perfect gift for that special someone. The to-do list is long and time is precious. Having someone to manage some of those time consuming tasks is the ultimate Santa’s helper.
Uber understands that it can be more than a convenient ride or dinner delivery. This holiday season, the company is spreading extra cheer.
The new Uber Carolers are a gift and experience all wrapped into one. According to the company, the special service combines a Diageo filled gift basket with some singing. Yes, a group of Carolers will present that bottle of Don Julio, Casamigos, Bulleit Bourbon, or Ritual with a classic tune.
Although this idea is not necessarily the old school singing telegram, the idea definitely makes that bottle service merry and bright. Singing along is not required, but a little gratitude does go a long way.
This special service is only available in New York City, Los Angeles, Dallas, Miami, and Washington, D.C. Maybe, if the concept is super successful, there could be an expansion next year. With people looking for unique gifts, this idea will become a hot buy.
How else is Uber making your holiday season easier?
Many aspects of the holiday season are not part of the daily grind. Beyond the copious amounts of cookies to bake or the school pageants to attend, holiday shopping is different from the usual grocery run. Wouldn’t it be easier if someone just delivered that Christmas tree?
Uber is offering holiday décor decor. To be clear, it does not come with set-up, but it definitely beats trying to drag that tree down the street or carefully tie it to the car’s roof.
The special Christmas décor deliver includes Christmas trees, Hanukkah bushes, and a various other seasonal décor. Available via the Eats app, it checks another item off the to-do list.
Although some people find joy in choosing the perfect tree, this idea is perfect to send a gift to someone. Why not deliver that poinsettia to the holiday party the day before. For families with older relatives, it is a wonderful solution to ensure that Aunt Ellie gets a little holiday décor even if you cannot drive to her house.
Overall, Uber is using its services to find ways to make the holiday season easier. No one wants to feel that they have missed out on all the cheer, but the season can be overwhelming. A little helping hand definitely deserves a top spot on the nice list.
