National Soup Month comes at a perfect time. In January, the temperatures (depending on where you live) begin to drop as winter arrives! It’s time to trade in our cold and refreshing dishes for a bowl or warm soup!
Soups are not only tedious to make, they’re also not so simple to put together. It takes a lot of practice to get the flavors and consistency just right. And nowadays, who has the time? We’ve put together our top five soups from chain restaurants that are actually good.
Chicken Enchilada Soup
Restaurant: Chili’s Grill and Bar
First up is my personal favorite, Chili’s Chicken Enchilada Soup. This soup is perfect for those who are not a big fan of soups, as the consistency is not at all watery. This soup could almost pass as a delicious dip, and taste great along with chips or salty crackers.
Zuppa Toscana
Restaurant: Olive Garden
The creamiest soup on this list is Olive Garden’s Zuppa Toscana. A favorite dish for customers who frequent the restaurant. The spicy Italian sausage adds a kick of flavor you’ll love.
Tortilla Soup
Restaurant: On the Border
The tortilla soup is one of On the Border‘s most popular dishes. Whether a large bowl to accompany a salad or a side cup of soup, most customers won’t leave without having this warm, watery dish!

When you think of a chicken soup, you probably think of a cold. But while it’s true that a chicken soup is the go-to meal when you’re under the weather, it’s also tasty to enjoy at any time, particularly when temperatures are cold outside.
Baked Potato Soup
Restaurant: Panera Bread
Who doesn’t love a good baked potato soup? Even though Panera Bread is considered a fast-food restaurant than one you go to dine in, we couldn’t leave out this delicious soup! Panera Bread’s Baked Potato Soup is a bowl full of flavor. It’s only served two days out of the week so check with your local Panera Bread location for more information!
Do you go to a restaurant for your favorite soup or do you prefer making your own? Happy National Soup Month!
