I have done stuffed plenty of treats in chocolate chip cookies (brownies, Reeses peanut butter cups etc), so I decided to stuff these brownies with sugar cookies that have been stuffed with a mini oreo.  You can use a brownie mix or your favorite recipe. You can also use a sugar cookie mix or your favorite recipe.

If you opt for a homemade version of either, remember to scoop your flour from your flour bag or container into your measuring cup, so you get the correct amount.  If you just pour it into your cup, you get too much flour, which makes for a dry treat, and who wants that?

Want to make double stuff brownies for yourself? Here’s my recipe.

Directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.  Spray a 9×13 pan with baking spray.  In a microwave safe bowl, melt butter and chocolate chips in 30 second increments in your microwave until you can stir mixture smooth.  Add sugar, eggs and vanilla.  Mix in dry ingredients.  Spread evenly into pan.

Sugar cookies – I used a mix, preparing the cookies with the ingredients listed on the package.

Directions –  Form a tablespoon of dough around each mini oreo and gently push them into your brownie batter.  (I used a spoon to spread a little brownie batter on top of each cookie.  I did rows of three with the cookies and the brownies are pretty big.  You can probably do rows of four and have smaller treats.

Bake for 15-22 minutes, until a toothpick comes out with a few crumbs (my oven tends to cook fast).  let cool.  Cut and store in covered container.

These double stuffed brownies are easy to make. From Sunday suppers to an any day treat, everyone will be asking for you to make this dessert again and again.
