Harpoon Dunkin’ Summer Coffee Pale Ale is the perfect summer sipper
Crack open a can. Harpoon Dunkin’ Summer Coffee Pale Ale could be your must have seasonal craft beer that could be replacing a traditional iced coffee.
After a successful first partnership, Harpoon Dunkin’ Summer Coffee Pale Ale is the latest release from Dunkin’ and Harpoon Brewery. This new summer, seasonal craft beer looks to be a delightful brew for the warm, sunny days ahead. Who’s ready to crack up a can?
Available starting today, the Harpoon Dunkin’ Summer Coffee Pale Ale combines the flavors of Original Blend Dunkin’ iced coffee with a hoppy pale ale. Without having tried the beer, the combination should be quite approachable for many beer drinkers. More importantly, it should have numerous beer pairing abilities.
Generally, a pale ale pairs well with grilled meats, including barbecue. With more hops and less malt flavors, simple dishes are generally a good choice.
This particular beer seems to combine the hoppy flavors with coffee. Finding the right balance between the vibrant notes and the robust coffee will be key. Still, citrus and coffee are a winning combination and this craft beer could quickly become a summer favorite.
Dunkin’ recommended some “coffee rubbed brisket, chipotle chicken tacos, and even Dunkin’ coffee rolls.” Given the breadth of food flavors, it suggests that this beer is quite approachable. From outdoor gatherings to a leisurely Sunday brunch, the possibilities for enjoyment are many.
This pale ale is the second beer in the Harpoon Brewery and Dunkin’ partnership. The first craft beer, the Harpoon Dunkin’ Coffee Porter, was hugely successful last fall. It makes sense that the two brands partnered again for a summer launch.
The craft beer field is always looking for new flavor combinations, partnerships and innovations. Whether it is brand partnerships or creative flavor profiles, beer drinkers are more willing than ever to try something new. Although the glitter beer trend perplexed many people, these more approachable combinations can become hot commodities.
Harpoon Dunkin’ Summer Coffee Pale Ale will be available throughout the summer. In addition to 12 oz. cans, select retail locations will have the craft beer available on draft.
Are you ready to toast to summer with a new craft beer? What is your favorite summer beer to enjoy on a hot day?
