Klondike and Anna Faris ask, What would you do for Klondike Bar?
Who doesn’t know the iconic phrase, What would you do for a Klondike Bar? Anna Faris brings back that iconic campaign with a fresh perspective.
How do you answer, What would you do for a Klondike Bar? That simple question has been asked to ice cream fans for years. Now, the favorite frozen treat is taking a new approach to the classic question, with a little help from actress Anna Faris.
Did you know that it has been seven years since that “what would you do” question has been posed to Klondike Bar fans? In those few years, many things have changed. Some people are more willing to go bigger and bolder for a taste of the ice cream and chocolate that is so craveable.
Like many people, Faris grew up with that classic question. She said, “I spent my childhood annoying my parents singing the famous Klondike question,” said Faris. “And they were right – it turns out I can’t sing. But I loved Klondike bars then and I love them now.”
Just like her, many people are willing to put themselves out there for a taste of that perfect frozen treat. In a new online video series, Faris and Jeff Tremaine, co-creator of Jackass, have created some elaborate hidden-camera stunts to see just how far people will got for that ice cream treat.

While these ideas might be a little over the top, they are somewhat based in the possible. For example, one video asks if couples would “sign over the naming rights to their baby for a lifetime supply of Klondike Bars.” It might sound a little extreme, but fans have gone the extra mile for their favorite treats.
This new campaign coincides with the launch of the two new flavors added to the minis line. The Double Chocolate and Mint Chocolate look to be a huge hit with fans. Adding the mint chocolate seems to be a big trend in the snacking industry. So many people are intrigued by that flavor combination.
As the warmer weather approaches, more people will be craving that bite of chocolate covered ice cream. Whether you prefer the classic version, a Reese’s option or one of the new minis, these frozen treats could have you singing that jingle that everyone remembers so well.
