Pop-Tarts new flavors channel your favorite desserts

Ready for some new Pop-Tarts flavors? These two new additions have you thinking that you are indulging in a popular dessert.

Pop-Tarts can turn classic treat flavors into an anytime treat. Once that foil packet opens, anyone can almost taste the yummy pastry goodness. Whether eaten straight from the package or toasted, these sweet bites can bring a smile to anyone’s face.

While classic flavors are always popular choices, the brand is always looking for new, different and fun choices to incorporate into the line-up. From bringing back flavors fans love to finding ways to incorporate classic desserts, a box of Pop-Tarts has become an anytime snack.

Joe Beauprez, director of marketing for Pop-Tarts, said, “We reimagined the classic desserts… giving our devoted fans more opportunity to enjoy this delicious, sweet treat any time of day.”

Two flavors are joining the brand’s line-up. Starting in June, Frosted Chocolate Cupcake and Frosted Confetti Cupcake could be your new sweet treat. Plus, there is no fork required.

The Frosted Chocolate Cupcake is totally new. For the ultimate chocolate lover, this tempting treat combines the rich chocolate cake flavor with the sweetness from an icing. Just like with a chocolate cupcake, this flavor could be delicious with a cold glass of milk.

The other cupcake flavor, the Frosted Confetti Cupcake, was a fan favorite. Debuting in 2017, fans have been requesting for this cupcake inspired flavor to return to store shelves. It was the second most requested flavor that fans wanted to return to the line-up.

While slightly on the sweeter side, a package definitely brings a celebratory mood. There is something fun about colorful confetti. It is hard not to smile while eating one.

Adding these dessert inspired treats is smart for the brand. Consumers are looking for sweet treats that don’t make them feel overly guilty by indulging. These sweet bites have the flavors that consumers want in a convenient package. Now, anyone, anywhere can satisfy that cupcake craving.

The Cupcake flavors will hit store shelves in June. The suggested retail price is $2.09 per package.
