Worst Cooks in America Celebrity Edition season 16 episode 6 preview

In this week’s Worst Cooks in America Celebrity Edition, the recruits need to show what they have learned this season and cook on their own.

As Worst Cooks in America Celebrity Edition almost reaches the finale, the four recruits need to show that they have improved from that first disastrous meal. Over the season they have explored flavors, techniques and recipes. Are they ready to put all those tools together on their own?

According to the Food Network, this week’s episode, “There’s No We in Food” featured the following:

"The celebrity recruits are left to run free in boot camp, working in teams to recreate a dish from taste alone. Unbeknownst to them, though, chefs Anne Burrell and Tyler Florence are secretly watching their every move. Then the celebs battle it out in their toughest competition yet, a Chopped-style showdown to determine which two will make it to the finale."

Looking at the synopsis, it will be curious to see how adventurous the recruits will be with their dish. Hopefully, they can put together a dish that showcases how far they have come.

For the second challenge, the Chopped-style showdown should be interesting. Most likely these ingredients will go together in some way. It wouldn’t be as outrageous as a typical Chopped-challenge.

The key to success will be two-fold. First, the recruits need to execute the dish. It doesn’t matter if the dish is super creative if the protein is under-cooked. Finishing the dish correctly is paramount.

Second, the recruits need to show their progression. In the beginning, the recruits tried to recreate their favorite restaurant dish. In some ways, they could show a technique or a skill from the first challenge that they have now mastered.

Overall, any of the four recruits could make the finale. Tonya has probably shown the most improvement, which could give her an edge. Although, Jim has really had some highpoints in the season.

Alec and Kim are super close in the competition. It will basically come down to who makes the least mistakes.
