PEEPS Flavored Jelly Beans will become the Easter Bunny’s favorite treat

At this year’s Sweets and Snacks Expo, PEEPS Flavored Jelly Beans were unveiled. After tasting this delicious candy, it will be the must have Easter basket treat.

PEEPS Flavored Jelly Beans are one of the best new candies to be revealed at this year’s Sweet and Snacks Expo. Winning the Most Innovated New Product, Non-Chocolate, these candies will fly off the shelves. The Easter Bunny better be ready.

The new PEEPS Flavored Jelly Beans actually feature four flavors, marshmallow, strawberry, lemon and blueberry. While the fruit forward flavors are good, it is the marshmallow flavor jelly bean that will have you take notice.

During the annual trade show, I was fortunate to snag a small sample bag of these award winning jelly beans. The marshmallow flavored jelly bean tastes just like fresh PEEPS. It is the perfect combination of sweet and marshmallow that is an iconic part of every Easter celebration. If I could have a bag of just the marshmallow jelly beans, I would be in heaven.

Now, to be clear, I am a big fan of PEEPS. From the classic yellow chicks to the super popular bunny, those sugar coated marshmallows are always a part of my holiday celebration. Yes, the Easter Bunny does put a package aside so that my kids don’t eat them.

For me, these new jelly beans will be a must in an Easter Basket. After one bite, everyone will instantly think of the classic PEEPS.

In addition to the jelly beans, PEEPS did add another exciting new item to its line. The PEEPS Chocolate Pudding Flavored Marshmallow Bunnies are a first for the company. The bunny shape has never been transformed into different flavor.

Also, another new flavor launched. The Root Beer Flavored Marshmallow Chicks are joining the flavored PEEPS line-up. While I never thought about this flavor being transformed into PEEPS, the possibilities for hot chocolate or pudding dessert toppings could be quite tasty.

The new PEEPS offerings will be coming to store shelves in the future. Until then, you will have to imagine what these candies taste like. As me, I have a few of the jelly beans left and I will be savoring them for a little longer.
