If you are coming for Jurassic World The Ride, you better come hungry, too. The new Jurassic Café and Isle Nu-Bar bring a taste of Costa Rica to Universal Studios Hollywood. Are you ready to go flavor exploring?

As fans anticipate the re-imagined Jurassic World – The Ride, Universal is expanding the Jurassic experience beyond the theme park attraction. The addition of the food and beverage options show that a total immersive experience is wanted by fans.

In the recent announcement, Universal Studios Hollywood stated that the Jurassic Café will feature Costa Rican cuisine. The menu items were inspired by movie’s location. While the menu is themed, they aren’t dinosaur inspired.

Looking at some of the menu’s signature items, the dishes are approachable yet push guests to explore. For example, starters like Pomegranate Guacamole with plantain chips offer a twist on the familiar without going too far outside the box.

A very interesting menu choice is the Sweet Corn Cakes with Spicy Mojo Jackfruit is a great vegetarian option. With the growing popularity of flexitarian eating, this menu item shows the versatility of jackfruit and how seamlessly it can work in a dish.

In addition to the tempting menu items at the Jurassic Café, the Isle Nu-Bar focuses on the tiki-bar trend that continues to thrive. Using the name from the Central American Island in Jurassic World, the stand alone bar could be the place to calm your nerves after riding the new Jurassic World –The Ride.
