Hardee’s new menu offerings are all about the garlic

Are you a garlic fan? Hardee’s new menu offerings might not be vampire approved but they are the comfort food combination that you will want to eat. Starting on June 19, garlic is going to be the star of Hardee’s menu.
In recent taste tests, Hardee’s found that two innovative, new menu items were huge hits with its fans. The Garlic Bread Thickburger and Cheesy Garlic Fries were “two of its best-tested menu items.” The fast food brand decided to launch these menu items nationwide.
According to Hardee’s, the Garlic Bread Thickburger is a “1/3 lb 100% Black Angus beef patty, charbroiled over an open flame, topped with buttery garlic herb spread, parmesan crisps and caramelized onions on a Hardee’s butter toasted sourdough bread.”
Looking at this food description, it is a smart choice to use a garlic herb spread over garlic bread itself. The spread ensures that each and every bite has bold, garlic goodness. Plus, it should pair nicely with the toasted sourdough bread.

The use of parmesan crisps is an interesting choice. While parmesan and garlic are a good pairing, most fast food brands don’t use this type of cheese. It will be interesting to see how the texture of the crisps change texture while eating the Thickburger.
For the second new menu item, the Cheesy Garlic Fries, these fries sound like the ultimate indulgence food. The natural cut fries are topped with “the perfect mix of garlic butter sauce and cheese.”
Usually cheesy fries are just topped with melted cheese and seasoning. The use of the garlic butter sauce adds another level of flavor. Based on this description, it sounds like a fork is required to enjoy these fries.
The two new menu items will be available starting June 19. The Garlic Bread Thickburger will retail around $5.29. The Cheesy Garlic Fries can be added to any combo starting at a $1. The new menu items are available at participating locations, while supplies last.
