Are you counting the days to official kickoff? Bud Light is ready for football season and the cans are dressed to impress.

Instead of a rousing Dilly Dilly, Bud Light ready to celebrate a winning touchdown. The NFL team cans are back and better than ever. Are you ready to celebrate your squad in style?

The NFL cans and aluminum bottle have received an upgrade this year. Although the ounces are the same, the team logo is bigger. Now, everyone can see that Jets or Seahawks logo. And, if someone isn’t a football fan, the team’s name is on the other side of the can.

It is interesting that the Patriots’ version is a different color. Instead of the traditional blue, the can is a darker color. The Super Bowl Champions get a very customized version for this year’s football takeover.

Now, there are 32 teams in the NFL and Bud Light offers 28 branded cans. Some football fans might feel left out this football season. Sorry Packers, but you will have to drink something else at the frozen tundra.

Even more interesting this year, Bud Light launched college packaging for the first time ever. The college packaging is available for just a few teams, including “Texas A&M, Texas Tech, Iowa, Alabama, Virginia Tech and LSU.”

Looking at the cans, it appears that LSU has its logo while the other colleges have the school’s colors. Still, it is nice to have some school spirit at a tailgate.

With football season, and tailgating, being such a big part of the fall, companies need to connect with football fans. Coca-Cola launched its NFL and college themed beverage packaging. Tostitos  previously had NFL themed bags.

Companies know how loyal fans are to their teams. With the team association, a person might switch to these branded beverages because of the football connection. Wouldn’t you rather toast a win with a Jaguars win with a Jags branded can?

The Bud Light football themed cans and aluminum bottles will start rolling out on store shelves later this month, just in time for the first regular season game.
