Available now, the limited time Stuffed Cheez-It Pizza looks like a Cheez-It snack. According to Pizza Hut, this pizza “features four baked jumbo squares topped with that distinctly sharp, real cheese taste you know and love from Cheez-It baked to toasty perfection.” The pizza is stuffed with “cheese or pepperoni and cheese” and is served with marinara dipping sauce.

Looking at the image, the pizza looks almost like a giant Cheez-It. It will be interesting to see the texture of this dish. Cheez-Its are quite crunchy, which is part of the cheesy snack appeal.

Additionally, Wendy Davidson, President, Kellogg’s U.S. Specialty Channels said “the Stuffed Cheez-It Pizza is an example of two great companies leveraging their strengths to delight guests with a new experience on a classic favorite.” Now, consumers do not have to put that classic snack alongside or on top of their favorite pizza.

This idea stemmed from some interesting consumer insights. Cheez-It snacks are popular with college students. College students love Pizza Hut pizza. This innovative menu item ties both of those items together into a bite that consumers want.
