Have you resolved to eating better? Many restaurants are adding Keto friendly menu options. With more people adapting these lifestyle choices, restaurants understand that these options are important to their customers.

Similar to the increased interest in flexitarian eating, Keto friendly and conscious eating choices are on the rise, especially during the New Year resolution time frame. it will be interesting to see how many restaurants will add these eating plan menus.

For now, a couple national restaurant brands have added Keto friendly menu options. From quick service to fast casual, there is an option for everyone.

Carl’s Jr and Hardee’s

After the successful launch of the all day Beyond Menu, Carl’s Jr and Hardee’s will be offering new keto friendly options. The fan favorite Thickburgers are being transformed.

A Guacamole Bacon Thickburger Lettuce Wrap, Original Thickburger Lettuce Wrap and Jalapeno Thickburger Lettuce Wrap. While these menu items get special billing, any and all Thickburgers can be transformed into a lettuce wrap.

This transformation is a great option for keto friendly eating or anyone who just wants a little more veggies in their diet. Even just skipping the bun every one in a while can be good for everyone.

Chipotle

Chipotle Lifestyle bowls are getting a super upgrade. Another new menu item, the supergreens salad mix replaces the romaine-only salad base. The mix combines “hand-cut romaine, antioxidant-rich baby kale and crisp baby spinach.” The combination is bursting with nutrient rich goodness.

Chipotle has been ahead of the curve in adopting these menu changes. It was the first fast-casual brand to offer “preconfigured, diet driven Lifestyle Bowls.” Adding the supergreens salad mix is just one aspect to its many options.

The Lifestyle Bowls include 3 Whole30 Salad Bowls, 2 Keto Salad Bowls, High Protein Bowl and several more.

Chopt Creative Salad Co

Chopt Creative Salad Co is adding new options to their warm bowls. Since some consumers are leaning toward warm bowls, Chopt is adding cauliflower rice as an option.

In the Know Better Bowls, the Spicy Bowl30 and the MexiKeto Carnitas Bowl have cauliflower rice. The bold, layered flavors offer a completely satisfying meal. Even if you aren’t following the keto diet, these bowls are quite enticing.

Available only online, the Eat Well Be Well options of AvoKeto Chicken Club Salad and Paleo Chicken Harvest Salad are other tasty options. The combination of textures are quite good. From crispy shallots to roasted brussels sprouts, these salads are far from boring.

These keto friendly menu options are just a few of the new choices coming to restaurants. As guests want these type of options, the restaurants will listen. Like any food trend, brands need to adapt to stay current.
