If you must have that daily cup of coffee, the Panera coffee subscription service could change your morning ritual. Are you ready to have more money in your wallet?

Is your wallet empty because a daily coffee stop? The Panera coffee subscription service is disrupting how people enjoy that cup of coffee inspiration. Now, people do not have to choose between great coffee and great value. Are you ready to have another sip?

According to a Money Matters report, the average American spends $1,100 a year on coffee. While coffee can be a necessity for many people, the dollar amount is large. In some ways, reducing that expense could mean that you could go on a nice vacation.

The new Panera coffee subscription service will offer guests the unlimited, delicious Panera “hot drip coffee, iced coffee and hot tea for just $8.99 a month.” On an annual basis, it is under $110 a year. Compared to the average coffee annual experience, it would be almost a $1,000 in savings. Are you ready to make a change to your coffee purchase?

This coffee subscription service shows consumers that they do not have to choose between quality and convenience. At this price point, the coffee subscription service offers savings like making your own coffee at home. In some cases, people spend over $5 on a cup of coffee, why wouldn’t they buy this coffee subscription service just for the convenience factor.

While some quick service restaurants have offered coffee services, Panera is the first national restaurant company to launch this program. The service is available to users of the MyPanera app and the offer will become available in restaurants nationwide starting on March 2.

Niren Chaudhary, Panera CEO, commented that Panera is committed to bringing innovation to its guests. Through enhancing the guest experience, the value added is tremendous. “Panera is a challenger brand and with unlimited coffee we are disrupting the coffee business. We are challenging the status quo because we believe everyone deserves a full cup, literally and figuratively.”

With this unlimited coffee subscription service, Panera could see a large influx of customers. While these restaurants are often popular gathering places, it could see guests hanging out even longer. From college study sessions to gathering with friends, that coffee mug will always be full.

As Panera seeks to be a disruptor, it will be curious to see if other restaurants create a similar program. With more than “160 million American adults drinking coffee every day,” that one beverage can have a huge impact on a restaurant’s or company’s business.

Even though coffee might start the day, it keeps fueling people morning, noon and night. To say that cup is always full is an understatement.
