In this Buddy vs Duff episode, the two teams are ready to play a round. Will these cakes be left in the rough or will they score a hole in one?

Ready to play a round? In this week’s Buddy vs Duff episode, the teams create playable, mini golf holes for professional golfer Michelle Wie. While she might be able to sink a perfect put, will these cakes be confectionary perfection?

According to Food Network, Buddy vs Duff 2 episode 6, “Mini-Golf Cake” synopsis states:

"It may be called miniature golf, but there’s nothing small about Buddy Valastro and Duff Goldman’s cakes, created as playable holes for a putt-putt event hosted by LPGA tour professional golfer Michelle Wie."

While this theme is based on mini golf, these cakes will not be miniature. As seen throughout the season, there is nothing small about any of these cakes. The biggest question will be how can a cake be a playable hole?

Thinking about the idea of a playable hole, it will be interesting to see what kind of mechanism the teams use. While it seems that Team Duff might make some type of chopping mechanism, that idea needs to work. Everyone knows that Duff’s tricks sometimes do not work as planned.

On the other side, Buddy needs to push the creativity level in this challenge. While last week’s whale of a cake was impressive, he needs to tackle the task head on. If this idea is a playable hole, it might not require a huge cake. Sometimes those little details can and do make a difference.

Looking at the standings going into this challenge, Buddy has a big lead. Given Duff’s time penalty from the last episode, he cannot afford another two point deduction. While Duff likes to dream big, he might need to scale back those ideas and to ensure that he finishes on time.
